Enjoy our kilometre-long, fine-grained sandy beach popularly known as the Nordic Riviera. Here, the fresh water from Pite River meets the saltwater from the Gulf of Bothnia. The shallow beach is perfect for lazy days of sun and swimming. Sweden’s highest swimming temperatures are often measured here due to the big sand dunes that catch the warm surface water.
The beach is a lively meeting place for the local population and Swedish and foreign tourists.
